Padley's been providing care and support for people in Derby experiencing homelessness since 1985. Padley House, Becket Street, has a day centre that provides food, clothing, shelter and support workers that help with housing, welfare and healthcare issues. Also have a hostel where homeless men can stay before being supported into their own accommodation. Padley is only able to provide these services with support of people/businesses.

me&dee charity is a registered charity which creates special moments and memories for both children and adults who have life-threatening, life-shortening or terminal conditions. Maria Hanson MBE, founder and CEO, provides a way of letting families who are going through a life-changing event take precious time together to make forever memories. me&dee are self funding and rely on support of individuals/companies. 

Safe and Sound’s purpose is to transform the lives of children and young people in Derbyshire affected by child sexual exploitation by supporting them to understand what has happened, rebuilding their confidence and moving them to a place of emotional safety to protect from further harm. Also, supporting with all types of criminal exploitation such as county lines, trafficking and radicalisation, which are often interlinked.

Derby City Mission are a Christian charity with over 30 years of experience who started supporting the homeless, poor and needy in 1989. They support those in need with food parcels, advice, a winter night shelter and schools worker. Also teams of Street Pastors help those out enjoying the nightlife.  They have over 500 volunteers enabling them to run projects too.  Derby City Mission is supported solely on donations.
